I'm trying to make it for an anniversary/Valentine's present for my boyfriend, who got me started reading Lovecraft.
I'm having some trouble figuring out how the head attaches to the body? The last row of the head is 6 stitches, but the last row of the body is 18 stitches. So it's not just whipstitched together with the stitches on each piece's end rows lining up... I saw where you answered another question that the 9 hdc should be placed in the back of the head. So, my understanding is that the body will overlap some of the head?
I was thinking that a couple of the stitches on the last row of both the head and body could be sewn together in front, and then just sort of wing it with the back of the body overlapping a bit of the back of the head... So that way, the more bulbous part of the head tilts backward a bit. Is that how you did it? Hope that all makes sense.
-AshleyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-353746392948535536.post-15349870965150877282015-01-06T16:54:07.327-08:002015-01-06T16:54:07.327-08:00Thank you for this pattern!
